Quick and Easy Breakfast Berry Smoothies

This tasty quick and easy berry smoothie is an easy way to meet your daily servings of fruit and vegetables.   This is a great breakfast  smoothie or an anytime treat for the kids.  Fresh or frozen berries can be used with this smoothie recipe.

PREP/TOTAL TIME:  10 minutes                      MAKES: 3 servings

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
  • 3 tablespoons fat-free half-and-half
  • 12 ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh (hulled) or frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a blender, cover and process for 30-45 seconds or until smooth.  Stir if necessary.
  2. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
