This is a quick and easy way of roasting corn for your barbecues without the hassle. Roll it up, pop in the oven, and you have tasty roasted corn in 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
- Corn
- butter
- salt
- pepper, coarse ground
- aluminum foil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
- Remove husk and silks from the corn.
- Butter, salt and pepper the corn and wrap in the foil.
- Place on a baking sheet. Place baking sheet in the oven and roast 20 to 25 minutes.
- Turn corn several time during cooking.
Author’s Notes:
- I use the little frozen sweet corn that comes 12 to a pack. I thaw the corn before cooking.
- Be sure to turn the corn during cooking.
- Use care when unwrapping the cooked corn so you don’t get burned from escaping steam.
- Have additional butter to put on cooked corn when serving.
- The corn can be placed on a hot grill for cooking.
