This easy and cheesy comfort food meal is just right amount for two people on a cool Fall evening or anytime really. Serve with a salad and garlic bread and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1 and 1/4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup spaghetti sauce
- 3/4 cup elbow macaroni
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- In a large cast iron skillet, over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onions for 5 to 7 minutes or until no pink remains. Stir frequently and drain off any excess liquid.
- Add the beef broth, spaghetti sauce, macaroni, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper; mix well.
- Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to medium low, and simmer 7 to 9 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese and simmer 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy.
